From New Zealand to Small-Town Texas

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting our partners from Figured—coming all the way from New Zealand and the UK—to our home base in West Texas. It’s not every day that global leaders in ag tech visit a small-town operation, and it reminded us just how connected the work we’re doing here can be to the larger ag community around the world.

Digging Into Growth and Strategy

During their visit, we spent time reviewing our current clients’ needs, exploring ways to improve the user experience, and mapping out growth strategies for the U.S. market. We also discussed the importance of better marketing stateside and planned quarterly meetings with their teams in New Zealand and Australia. Sharing insights across continents helped both sides see how Figured is used globally and how we can continue improving our operations here.

Insights for Producers

Some of the key takeaways for producers included:

  • Consistency and clarity matter: Leveraging tools like Figured can help track profitability and cash flow in real time, giving confidence in decision-making across crops, livestock, and other enterprises.

  • Global perspective, local impact: Seeing how operations function in other countries can inspire new ways to manage risk, optimize workflows, and track performance.

  • Client feedback is gold: Collecting testimonials and feedback from current users allows Figured—and our team—to continue improving services to meet producer needs more effectively.

A Little Fun Along the Way

Of course, no visit to West Texas would be complete without showing off a bit of local hospitality. We shared a Texas BBQ lunch and went out on the Can-Am to check cattle. Moments like this remind us that relationships—both professional and personal—are at the heart of everything we do.

Why It Matters

Bringing the world to small-town Texas is more than just a visit. It’s proof that rural communities can have a global impact when vision, hard work, and strong partnerships come together. For producers, the takeaway is clear: the tools, strategies, and relationships you cultivate locally can open doors far beyond your own operation.

We’re proud to be part of a network that spans continents, helping producers make informed decisions, optimize their operations, and grow their businesses with confidence. And while the visit may be over, the insights and collaborations will continue to shape the work we do every day.
