Holly & Amanda Are In Florida This Week

This week, Holly Haralson and Amanda Holder traded pastures for palm trees and spreadsheets for... well, more spreadsheets. They spent the week in Orlando, Florida for Scaling New Heights 2025, one of the leading national conferences for accounting professionals.

Scaling New Heights is known for bringing together tech-forward vendors, expert speakers, and practitioners who want to build smarter, more resilient businesses. It’s part of how we stay sharp on the latest updates, so we can keep serving producers with clarity, accuracy, and confidence.

For Holly and Amanda, the week has been a mix of deep dives and unexpected moments:

  • Connecting with vendors we already use and scouting new ones that could help us support our clients even better.

  • Learning updates that affect how we issue 1099s, manage records, and prep for year-end.

  • Getting (so many) new book recommendations. (Ladies, look out for the book club.)

  • Making new connections… and finding a few animals along the way (even if they’re stuffed).

They’ve been in sessions on everything from tax-ready workflows to building proactive advisory services, tools that matter as we help producers get ready for harvest, tax season, and all the decisions in between.

And since we’re heading into July, here’s your friendly reminder: now’s the perfect time to review your books, get your 1099 info together, and tackle any cleanup before the fall rush begins.

Oh, and did we mention Holly spent her birthday in a room full of breakout sessions and ledger lines? That probably tells you everything you need to know about how committed she is to doing right by our clients.

We’re proud to invest in learning and connection so we can keep showing up with the kind of support our producers deserve. Holly and Amanda are already gathering ideas we can bring back to the team, and we’re all looking forward to having them back on our weekly Zoom calls.
