Location: Hybrid, Brick and Mortar located in Eastland County, Texas.

    • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

    • Process invoices, expense reports, and payroll in a timely manner.

    • Reconcile bank and credit card statements and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.

    • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning as needed.

    • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring accuracy in all financial operations.

    • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

    • Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial data.

    • Support internal audits and coordinate with external auditors as required.

    • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

    • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper and/or Payroll specialist or in a similar financial role.

    • Associate Degree or higher preferred

    • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices (GAAP).

    • Knowledge of Farm Financial Standards is a plus. 

    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.

    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.

    • Ability to demonstrate confidence and good judgment when interacting with colleagues, supervisors, and clients

    • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper, Quickbooks ProAdvisor) are a plus.

    • Communicate effectively, with a direct yet respectful approach—no passive aggression needed.

    • Possess a positive attitude, with a sense of humor to match—knowing your go-to Sonic Happy Hour order is a plus.

    • Maintain a high level of professionalism, balancing competence and compassion while working with clients and colleagues.

    • Be adaptable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of tasks while fostering a supportive team environment.

  • We believe in fostering a flexible, and supportive, work environment where modern technology and efficient work arrangements are at the forefront. While the role may require occasional travel for training or special projects, we prioritize work-life balance. We encourage the use of PTO -- because you’ve earned it. Our standard hours are 8:30 - 5:00, Monday through Friday. We observe major holidays.
